expressions available in table form for slope and y-intercept?

I'm working with data that needs to be in straight table format, and am trying to create a couple of expressions that so far I haven't found available in the list of mathematical operators.  Specifically, I'm looking for a way to show the slope and y-intercept based on a set of numerical values.

Another way of putting that is I'm trying to replicate the data analysis regression function that I use in Excel, but figure out how to do it in QlikView instead.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

a sample data set may be helpful. but in qlikview, open help and search for regression functions. qlikview has quite a few statistical functions that should help with your requirement.

you may be able to find some very useful threads and other resources using search on this page. i just pasted a few links that may be helpful to you:
