filter join question

we have table A and table B joined on key

what we want to do is use table A to filter data and then

to be able to filter on the result set in table B based on

separate attributes of table B without affecting results in table A

is there a way to do that in QlikView ???

It sounds like the "Loosely Coupled" tables functionality, however that is such a shaky ground, that I'd rather recommend using Set Analysis to disregard certain filters in certain expressions.

Thank you for the response. We would like to be able filter on attributes in table B without it affecting Table A. how that can be accomplished using set analysis ?
