Hello
I have the following task to be implemented
I have an excel sheet in which each employee has the date and time on which the (s)he came into the office and left
I want to calculate the total number of hours each employee spent in the office per month and display this info on a chart
what I'm thinking of is calculate the number of hours per day then get the total group by month
so what I need here is to know the first day and the last day of a month specified by the user from an input object so that I know the range of date to calculate the total number of hours ; plus I appreciate if you supply me with date and time functions
please check
if([Date]=Date(Floor(MonthEnd([Date]))),1,0) as end_Flag,
Why dont you just subtract the exit time from the time the employee came into work. Im assuming the entry and corresponding exit time will be on the same row.
You could very easily do this on the script. Then sum the daily hours on a straight table
