hi every one,

                              if once we create qvd we have to deploy in server?

What are the steps we have to follow if we have to deploy the qvd into server?

Ramana,

A QVD is a QlikView Data file and can't be deployed in a server (AccesPoint)

If you would like to deploy a QVW file you can deploy it through the AccessPoint via.

Open the QlikView Management Console

Navigatie to System --> Setup

Expand Management services --> Qlikview Servers --> QVS@yourserver

Open Tab Folders

Here you'll find the Root folder setting and the possibility to add Mounted folders

          so qvd we will not deploy into server,

for qvw we have to create task in qlikview management  console(publisher) before we deploy into access point its correct ?

Hi,

Assuming you've loaded the data in qvd file into the QVW then copy and paste the qvw file into PUBLIC folder in the Mount as suggested by Paul Verkooijen
