Hi,

The copy/paste does what you need to copy objects from a qvw to another.

However for the data, you either need to have the same reload script in the 2nd qvw, or you can read the 1st qvw as binary.

You do this from the edit script window (ctrl+e), in the bottom click on "Qlikview file" and select your source file. You'll have something like this at the beginning of your script:

Binary document1.qvw;

And after reloading your 2nd qvw, you'll have same data as in your 1st qvw.

Hope this helps.

Hi smita1987,

If your objects are off and on conditionally then you have to show all objects from the Document Properties > Security Tab and check Show all Sheet & Sheet Objects. After that Ctrl + a , Ctrl + c and then Ctrl + v in your target qvw file.

Now press Ctrl + e in your existing application , select all script and paste to your target application and reload the new application.

Now your objects are available along with the data.

Hope it helps.

Copy paste will work if u have same fields in the target table as well n all the variables are also defined in target application which u used in the objects.
