how to pass parameters to Function

I have written a function in the script like below

now I wanted to use the function in the expression however my problem is it is not populating any value.

could you please help my in correcting the syntax for passing the values in the function.

It seems that you have not reloaded the app after defining the variable in the script. Reload and then check if that works. Else, try to define the variable at the UI.
