Should be this in your script

Mont,

Year,

Month &'-'& Year      as Period

From yout Table;

Hi Usha,

You need to use Monthname(Datefield) as MonthYear and make new field, also you try Month(Datefield)&'-'&Year(Datefield) as MonthYear
