Hi All,

In pivot table i have three dimaensions

Department

section and

branch

and i have 4 expressions

now the i have 3 columns for dimension if expanded else there will be one column ....

Now i want to know how do i give a single name as a header to this three columns ? as a Description

PLease find the attached sample , Basiaclly i want to hide the culumn names  Department , Section and Bransh , and have a single header for this as Description .

Create calculated dimension ValueList('Nameasyourwish') and then change column to row on the top be help of Mouse. In fact, This feature works only for Pivot not straight object

Thanks for the effort you took to explain me ... look i have attached qvw sample app.

In your above expamle brans, section and Department should be hidden , and the whole three column whould have single header name as Description  (branch,Department and  section should be hidden)...Please find the qvw attached ....

Here they are hiding the column name (Dimensions) and giving one name for the dimensions as Description.
