primary QVD

But, I came across a sentence stating that migration of the primary     as well as secondary QVD’s     pointing    from oracle base to Teradata.What does it mean?

Hi deepthakaliga.

There is no such thing as primary or secondary QVD:s.

A QVD is a file created from a QV table.

table1:

load a, b, c, d

from excelfile.xls;

store table 1 into qvd1.qvd;
