recreating SQL Query in QV

hi guys

I've been handed a sql query that I'd like to 're-write' in QV

Please may you check if I'm doing this right....as there are some joins in there...

I include the model as well as the original query

I am not quite sure when to 're-write ' the queries in QV, and when to keep in SQL...probably a lot of it depends on to which extent data is 're-used' later in the model?

thanks

I would say that if the SQL query works and provides the data you need, leave it in SQL. Don't fix it if it ain't broken....

Re: recreating SQL Query in QV

Thanks Jonathan. I think I agree

I have changed the model , I usually prefer to work with concatenate rather with join, but just to expand my limited coding repertoire, I've decided to attempt this one with join....will open up a new post for this...

Thanks
