set analysis with alternate states

I have access channel and device type in Group1 alternate state

Year and Month are filters outside alternate states

I wrote set analysis expression as follows: but it didn't worked for me.

sum({Group1<Year=$::Year,Month=$::Month>}transactionamount)

what is the wrong in my expression? How can I restrict Year and Month from my Group1?
