x axis crossing the y axis

Hi,

I've got a bubble chart with the y axis as relative size compared to similar trusts (i.e 1.0 meaning the same size, 1.1 etc we are bigger, 0.9 etc we are smaller).

Ideally I want the x axis to cross at y axis at 1.0 (not 0.0) hence creating a four area chart with the axis as the centre "cross". However I can't see a setting as simple as "crossing y axis value".

Can anyone tell me how this is (if) possible please.

Thanks

Lee

x axis crossing the y axis

Hi Lee

There is a setting on the presentation tab for a scatter graph called Center On.

Here is the text from help:

Center on

Check this alternative to set a fixed value on the x-axis which will be positioned in the center of the plot area. If the Center on value conflicts with Static Min and/or Static Max the Center on value will have priority.

Sound like what you need?

Yes and no.

That centers the display of the chart on (0,1) however I literally want the x-axis line to cross the y-axis at (0,1)

The "center on" still has the physical x-axis line crossing at (0,0)

Here's a very basic example of how it does it in Excel. The x-axis crossing the y-axis at 1.

Thanks
