There is a problem with the Lock icon not appearing in QlikView Access Point (or in desktop using WebView). The "lock functionality" works, but the lock icon itself does not appear.
Lock functionality can be triggered in a dashboard in Settings > Document Properties> Triggers

Reported in QlikView 12.50 SR3 but also reproducible in 12.50 SR4 and 12.50 SR4 Patch 1 (12.50.20402)
Resolution
Fix is scheduled to be included in 12.60 SR1. Release date to be determined.
