NPrinting: PDF reports generation fails after disabling the Windows Spooler service

The Windows "spooler" service in your NPrinting environment has been disabled. Doing so causes NPrinting report execution to fail with a similar error below in the NPrinting Engine log:

Resolution

It is required to keep the Windows Spooler service enabled on the NPrinting Server/Engine computer to allow NPrinting report to be generated

 

Cause

The Windows computer Spooler service on the NPrinting Server, Engine computer has been disabled
