If the PDF generation of your Qlik NPrinting Reports isn't working, please verify the following:
When you install Qlik NPrinting, the Windows service “Print spooler” must be up and running. If it is disabled, PDF-XChange 5.0 will not be added during the installation.
Check if the PDF-XChange 5.0 driver called "QlikView NPrinting PDF-Printer" appears in the Devices and Printers applet under \Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers.
Resolution
If PDF-XChange 5.0 does not install with NPrinting, or if you have uninstalled the Driver by mistake follow the steps below:
- Re-Install Qlik NPrinting Designer
- Ensure the Spooler (Print Spooler) service is running via Windows Task Manager
- Confirm the printer driver appears in the Devices and Printers applet under \Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers
