After successfully installing Qlik Data Transfer and attempting to connect to Qlik Cloud, the message Unable to connect to the tenant is returned.
The Qlik Data Transfer log contains the following error:
Error: Unable to contact Users Service. Underlying Error: write EPROTO 7692:error:14094410:SSL routines:ssl3_read_bytes:sslv3 alert handshake failure:c:\ws\deps\openssl\openssl\ssl\record\rec_layer_s3.c:1544:SSL alert number 40
Resolution
Install ciphers as stated in the Qlik Support article Adding Cipher Suite for Qlik Data Transfer on Windows 2012 R2. The article title mentions Windows Server 2012 R2, however, the same method for installing the ciphers is intended to work on Windows Server 2016 and later versions.
Cause
The below required ciphers are not installed on the server running Qlik Data Transfer:
