Report generation fails with a timeout.
Noted WARNING in nprinting engine log:
WARN QLIKVIEW 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 Content request 8e8f8d49-c8f4-47e7-9e07-fb8e3f8eeb28: resolution ended unsuccessfully with exception System.Exception: Qlik NPrinting PDF Printer timeout: a print job for C:\Users\Credon\AppData\Local\Temp\a18c0f79-bd8c-4044-8f40-0fc099a9375c.pdf started but never ended
Required files are (.pdfs) are being locked by a virus scan or backup process. Exclude the NPrinting Engine process from active virus scans.
The user connects to the NPrinting server using Remote Desktop using the NPrinting service account.
This can cause a redirection of the NPrinting PDF printer that cannot print reports for that NPrinting Service user. The steps in Resolution stop the redirection of the NPrinting PDF printer that can be used to generate QlikView Entity reports. It is recommended not to connect remotely to a server as the NPrinting user.
