The Data Load Editor in Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows 2025 experiences noticeable performance issues.

Resolution

Fix Version

Qlik Sense May 2025 SR 6 and higher releases.

Workaround

A workaround is available. It is viable as long as the Qlik SAP Connector is not in use.

  1. In a Windows file browser, navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\
  2. Move the QvSapConnectorPackage directory to a different location

No service restart is required.

Yup,
I think I could confirm I was able to reproduce issue on my test environment.
Installing patch6 right now to see if it fix the issue.

Ok so , in patch notes there is no mention of

But I could confirm, that after applying patch 6, problem with connections loading is fixed.
Also our customer reports, that performance degradation is also gone.

Just adding to the information that we have upgraded to patch 7 with no improvement in this issue. Also it's worth noting that if you move the sapconnector you would need to put it back in before you can uninstall the patch and install any other patch.

Dear Sonja

Thank you for your response. I want to clarify one more thing here that this issue was also in discussion in below :

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Connectivity-Data-Prep/Qlik-Sense-Patch-Causes-Data-Connections-to-loa...

Here someone has suggested to remove SAP connector folders, so just want to confirm if we need to remove this folder from this version as well? and it will fix issue ?

kindly confirm.
