The Talend Cloud Migration Platform (TCMP) utility was developed to help Talend on-premises customers prepare for their transition to Talend in the cloud.
The initial objective of the utility is to assess your current Talend on-premises platform by conducting an inventory of all of the Talend assets currently being used. Those Talend assets include the list of users, groups, projects, tasks, and execution plans, as well as a list of the Talend component servers such as Talend Administrative Center (TAC) servers, TAC databases, Job servers, Virtual Servers, and so on.
TCMP aggregates all the collected information and generates a personalized assessment report. In addition to the inventory of the assets, the report includes a corresponding mapping of the architecture you would have if the on-premises Talend environment was moved to Talend's cloud platform.
TCMP also comes with an easy-to-use web interface that helps you automate the migration of the inventoried assets to Talend's cloud platform.
