When you try to upload the Qlik View Applications onto Qik Sense Business, it will fail with the error "Failed to upload files"

MicrosoftTeams-image.png

And, all the existing Qlik View apps are disappeared from the catalog.

Error in Splunk:

{"accessType":"professional","qvEnabled":"false"}

Environment

Resolution

Qlik Sense business license SLK or LEF will not include the "qvNodes" or "QV_NODES" attribute. This functionality is only limited to Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS Tenant. So, you cannot work with Qlik View apps when using Qlik Sense business.

Cause

The attribute "qvNodes" or "QV_NODES" is wrongly added to Qlik Sense Business License.

This is likely an error from the old recipe, when this license was migrated to iCRM in January 2022 and the recipe “corrected” the license, the attribute was removed and was unable to upload Qlik View Applications or Existing Qlik View applications disappeared.

To work with Qlik View Apps, Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS Tenant is required or an up-gradation is required from Qlik Sense Business to Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS.

Note: In Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS Tenants, the "qvNodes" or "QV_NODES" attribute's value should be more than "0" to work with Qlik View Applications.

i.e.,

In SLK:

"provision": "qvNodes",
            "valid": "./.",
            "values": {
                "count": 3

In LEF:

QV_NODES;1;;
