During the workshop, you'll have guided instruction on exploring the power and breadth of the Qlik Sense API. Through step-by-step examples, you will learn to:
- Embed Qlik Sense charts using iframes
- Embed Qlik Sense charts using JavaScript
- Dynamically create and embed charts
- Create and deploy custom chart properties end-user flexibility
- Create a complete mashup
- And more!
We will guide you through a series of examples in which you will build content using existing templates and web-framework. Participants will not be required to write code, rather they will modify existing code via cut-and-paste of pre-defined snippets.
A pre-requisite for this class is attending the Qlik Sense for Beginners live workshop, having experience connecting to data-sources and building Qlik Sense apps, or completion of the Sense introductory webinar. Attendees are not required to have HTML or JavaScript programming experience, but a basic understanding of web-programming fundamentals is strongly encouraged.
The workshop is free and we'll provide lunch. Please bring a laptop with you.
