This forum was created for professors and students using Qlik within academia.


The Academic Program provides qualified university professors and students, and researchers with free Qlik Sense and resources to educate and train the next generation of experts leading with data.

As a member of the program, Qlik, joined by partner C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group invites to you to participate in a Qlik Datathon to solve some of the biggest climate-related challenges facing our future!

Who: Current Qlik Academic Program professors and students.  To join the program visit qlik.com/academicprogram 

What: Put your skills to work to develop data and analytic solutions for a climate resilient earth to support healthy ecosystems in multiple geographies. There will be six challenges released all related to a global set of cities plus an additional “choose your own challenge” option. All entries will be reviewed and judged by Qlik, C40 Cities, and other experts from climate organizations. Winners will be announced in April!

• Submissions due April 3rd
• Winners announced April 2020

Where: Individuals and teams can participate from anywhere around the world!

• Solve the challenges leveraging your skills
• Build support for your university, computer science or data analytics clubs
• Participate in conversations and gain exposure to climate expert organizations
• Network with Qlik employees, customers and partners
• Add credibility to your resume with a Qlik Datathon win
• Earn opportunities to present solutions at QlikWorld in Phoenix, win cash prizes and more
