As an ongoing initiative to provide support to Qlik Partners, the academic program has introduced Universities and Institutions enrolled into the academic program with Partners. Partners such as  Gain Insights, Polestar, Finesse  found this support quite useful to boost their recruitment efforts for students skilled in Qlik technologies. For Partners, they benefit by getting access to trained resources and deploy them on projects immediately.

For Universities too, this is a welcome initiative since they are able to connect their students with prospective employers. Students in more than 150 Universities and colleges in India have been using academic program resources such as QCC, qualification exams to boost their career prospects.

Demand for those trained in data analytics is rising and there is a growing need for trained resources globally. According to the forecasts of the World Economic Forum, by 2020 data analysts will be in high demand in companies around the world. The Linkedin Workforce report maintains that, in the USA, demand for these professional figures has grown six fold compared to five years ago, and data analysts will continue to be the most sought after profiles over the next five years.

To fill this growing gap, the Qlik Academic Program provides free resources for learning and getting qualified in analytics. To know more about this, visit: https://www.qlik.com/us/company/academic-program
