I feel pleased to welcome Dr. Manikandan Sundaram as the Qlik Academic Program Educator Ambassador for 2025.
Manikandan is currently the Dean of the School of Computing and Head of the Data Science and Analytics Centre at Rathinam Technical Campus, Coimbatore, India.
He is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. With over 12 years of experience in both the industry and academia, he has held various senior roles, including Software Engineer, Technical Head, and Database Administrator. Manikandan earned his Master’s Degree in Information Technology Engineering from SRM University, Chennai and later his PhD from Anna University, Chennai.
Throughout his career, Dr. Manikandan has received numerous awards for his contributions, including the SIFE-12 award from SIFE Organization and Coder 2k06. His expertise spans multiple fields such as Database Management Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine intelligence, Networks, and Ethical Hacking.
During his career as a Professor, Manikandan has introduced the Qlik Academic Program to his students and encouraged them to pursue qualifications and certifications under this program. He has organized datathons and hackathons in his capacity as a Professor.
