QABDI Example Deployment on Windows

Dear Team ,

I have set up minikube, Kubernetes and helm with the help of documents available. also applied the license. 

the license pod shows the staus as CrashLoop.BackOff

 

C:\Program Files\Kubernetes\Minikube>kubectl get pods

How to know that its license related issue or  configuration issue.

Hey Nilesh, 

I believe this error is because the license didn't get applied correctly. I faced a similar issue when adding the key as a parameter. 

 

I found it to be easier to add the settings to a yaml file and add that in the command.

cmd

>helm install --name bdi bt_qlik/bdi -f override.yaml

 

override.yaml (which should be in your working/Minikube dir):

## BDI values
## Default values: <a href="https://github.com/qlik-trial/elastic-charts/blob/master/charts/bdi/values.yaml" target="_blank">https://github.com/qlik-trial/elastic-charts/blob/master/charts/bdi/values.yaml</a>

## EULA License Agreement
acceptLicense: true

license:
    ## ABDI License Key
    ##
    key: "%LicenseKey%"
