CORE.ERROR.CODE.FAILED_TO_CONNECT_TO_LICENSES_SERVICE - FAILED TO CONNECT TO THE LICENSES SERVICE. CHECK IF THE LICENSES SERVICE IS RUNNING

Hi all,

We are done with fresh QDC installation.

However while entering login credentials we are getting license error.

We have started license service using cd /usr/local/qdc/qlikcore && ./launch_qlikContainers.sh and in output the services have started.

Also tried following commands: sudo systemctl restart qlikContainers.service

We have also edited the user and group to our service account user name : /etc/systemd/system/qlikContainers.service

Can anyone help where else do we have to make changes if service account is not qdc?

What might be the issue?

Hi @DaveHowland ,

We were able to solve the issue after opening ports 9200 and 5432.

Hello @Iwin  ,

Can I ask, are there any outbound firewall rules that might be preventing an outward connection to the Qlik licensing Server?

Thanks!

David
