Hi,
During the past weekend our reloads using the Qlik Data Gateway (version 1.6.6) ran into failures with the following error:
Data has not been loaded. Please correct the error and try loading again.
The following error occurred:
Internal error. (Connector error: Unknown reason:. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. (DirectAccess-1500))
The engine error code: EDC_ERROR:22013
The service was still running but I restarted it anyway and things are up and running again. But I want to have an idea of what caused this to happen to decrease the chance of this happening again.

The same error for me. I have the 1.6.8 version of DG.
We are using the 1.6.8 version and we have this exact same error message (DirectAccess-1500). Someone pasted the same "DirectAccess-1500" error message before. Does anyone know the solution to resolve this problem?

Version 1.6.9 is available since 2 weeks ..

We have been seeing this error, too on 1.6.8
we also see: MakeBusy cannot be called when state is Busy with this same error code.
Any progress here? We are getting the same issue. Running an automation to reload our apps and get failures with the same message, but it seems to be randomly hitting only one or two apps and not the same apps fail. And it occurs randomly across our tenants.

I am getting the same error on version 1.6.8 and after updating to version 1.6.9.

we have installed 1.6.9 this past weekend and we will report back if we see any changes.... we also have a support ticket open on several of the errors we are seeing before this upgrade, and will post if we find any wisdom around these errors.
