SYS-E-HTTPFAIL, Failed to load dynamic endpoint properties

Dear all,

I got an issue during creating a connection with SAP extractor. Here is the error :

Status(StatusCode="Internal", Detail="SYS-E-HTTPFAIL, Failed to load dynamic endpoint properties. SYS,GENERAL_EXCEPTION,Failed to load dynamic endpoint properties,Failed to find endpoint type 'SAPOdp' from endpoint server 'Local' Failed to find endpoint type 'SAPOdp' from endpoint server 'Local'")

As I couldn't install the driver with ./install sapextractor command, I downloaded the correct file (defined in manifest sapextractor.yaml) thanks to this documentation: Link here.

I put the 2 files asked in the endpoint folder. But still have this issue. Could you please help me on this topic.

Thanks in advance,

Quentin

Hello @QuentinSEB ,

Could you please attach diagnostic package for the task in order to investigate it further, I would request you to create support case for the same. We will analyze and will get back to you accordingly

Hello Suresh,

I did what explained in this topic : https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/DataIntegration/SourcesC...

As I got some proxy issue to install it automatically, I did this :

To update the SAP Java Connector:

  • Stop the Data Movement gateway service:

    sudo systemctl stop repagent

  • Optionally, confirm that the service has stopped:

    sudo systemctl status repagent

The status should be as follows:

Active: inactive (dead) since <timestamp> ago

  • On the Data Movement gateway machine, change the working directory to:

    opt/qlik/gateway/movement/drivers/bin

  • Run the following command:

    Syntax:

    ./update sapextractor

The old SAP Java Connector will be uninstalled and the new SAP Java Connector will be installed.

  1. Wait for the installation to complete (indicated by "Complete!") and then start the Data Movement gateway service:

    sudo systemctl start repagent

  2. Optionally confirm that the service has started:

    sudo systemctl status repagent

The status should be as follows:

Active: active (running) since <timestamp> ago

Thanks in advance,

Quentin

Hello Sachin,

Where can I get this diagnostic package on the gateway as it is during the connection creation and not the task afterwards ?

I tend to see if it's a conflict between gateway version or OS version and SAP Java Connector. In the YAML, it shows that we need SAPjco30 version, we are in version 2024.5.7 for the gateway and RedHat Rocky 9 for the OS.

Thanks in advance,

Quentin

Hello @QuentinSEB

From the SAP portal we can only download the latest version i.e sapjco31P.
This is known issue and we have already raised the issue with R&D Team on this.

Could you please rename sapjco31P to sapjco30P, to match the configuration in yaml file.

Suresh
