Count of Employee Grade wise between Median Salary... - Qlik Community

Hi Friends,

I am attaching a qvw file. Where I want to calculate the Grade wise count of employee between median salary to 44th Salary.

I am calculating it but it is not coming correct.

For correct out please check out the excel file, where I have done it by manualy for few grade.

Hi Akumar,

I checked for Manager and counted manually 7, the same as your QlikView app.

Are you sure your excel is right?

I change the expression to this :

=Count(if([Annual Sal_ANSALARY] <= vMedian and [Annual Sal_ANSALARY] >= v44th,Employee_Code,0))

It seems to work (at least for Manager I get 3).

I used the given expression, but my value is not 3. Please check out the attached jpeg.

Employee Count - 49

Grade - 3

Median Salry - 96880

44th Salary - 94586

Now i want to count of the employees which is between 96880 and 94586. The correct answer is 3. But I am getting 49, Total no. of employee count.
