Qlik Compose Error

We are getting the following error when we try to transform from source to target. Connectivity to source and target is fine.

"SYS.GENERAL_EXCEPTION, Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Hi @matheb04 This is a generic error, happens for many reasons. Please check following:

1) Does the mapping have any transformation logic? Try testing it and make sure it works.

2) Check the option "Generate DDLs but do not run them" in Project settings and validate Model and Datawarehouse. This will sync metadata and then try the same after unchecking the said option.

If the above two steps do not work then something else might be going on and it's better to open a support case so that we can check it in detail.

When we click on the "create expression"  icon on target table we  now get the error

I see that support case 00034766 is open now, we will take a look and help you resolve the issue.

We worked with @matheb04 and this issue is resolved by upgrading the environment to the latest patch version 2021.08.
