Hi Team,
I have date field mm/dd/yy hh:mm PM format and when I am exporting data to excel, I am getting number format excel.
I want to keep mm/dd/yy hh:mm PM data when I am exporting data to excel.
Please let me know how I can keep data as same as when I am exporting data to excel?
Thanks in Advance
Siva
Are you sure you are exporting the date in numeric format? Could it be a problem with the default format that Excel has configured? What needs to be identified is what exactly is being exported. Try generating a .csv and opening it with a text editor to see the format of that field. If there is a number, you are exporting it incorrectly. I recommend converting it with DATE(field, 'mm/dd/yy hh:mm TT') before exporting. Another solution is in Excel, changing the column to date type.
