Unable to Unistall Qlik Webconnector (Service)

Hi,

I have been using Qlik WebConnector 2.1 in for Qlik Sense Desktop for last 3 months. Now, 2.1 got expired and I tried to configure/upgrade it to 2.2 but I'm unable to start the service.

Also I tried to uninstall 2.1 and the results are same i.e. Service Not removed from the list to install fresh 2.2.

Is there anyway to remove supported files to install fresh Web Connector 2.2?

Hi James,

You can rename the existing folder "QlikWebConnectors" as "Old_QlikWebConnectors". Now create a new folder as "QlikWebConnectors" in the same location and copy all files from 2.2 extracted zip.

If you did any changes/additions to config file, do them manually again in new config. Restart the service. It will work as expected.

I did the same, since then its working fine for me.

Thank you stevedark‌ and Prashanth. We removed the deprecated Azure connector and that resolved the problem.

The instructions for upgrading 2.1 to 2.2 need to be expanded with further detail to avoid this problem.

Thanks James for the update - I'm glad it is now working.

The reason that it was failing, I now notice, is that the Azure connector is not part of the latest release, and the connector that was failing was an old one.

That is why d.prashanthreddy 's solution also worked.
