How to avoid all sheet object to get load data without current sheet during selection of sheet

Hi Friends,

I want to speed up my qlikview application. so i thought one idea.

which is,

if i load selected sheet objects only during the selection of sheet and avoid to load other non selected sheet objects.

i will get better performance.

any idea for this?

please suggest me.

That might work. Charts have a Calculation Condition option on the General tab of the properties window. You can use that option to enter an expression that calculates if the chart should be calculated and rendered or not. You can create an expression that checks for selections in one or more fields. Something like =if(GetSelectedCount(MyField)<=10,1,0). You could also use such an expression for the Conditional show option on the Layout tab to hide the chart completely if the condition isn't met.

You can also minimize objects. They will not get calculated until restored by the user.

You can also force the user to have to press a button to apply selections when all selections have been made

The hidden charts will not load in background based on during field selections ?

That's right, though making selections will cause the conditional display expressions to be recalculated of course.
