How to filter customers that have not ordered in the past 6 months

Hi,

I am using Quickbooks Advanced Reporting which is powered by QlikView.

I am trying to be able to filter all customers [Customer.Full Name] that have not ordered in the past 6 months.

It will also be helpful if the filter can be set to only include customers that have placed orders in the past 12 months.

I am not sure what would be the best way to set this up. either by having an expression in a List Box. or by setting it up in a chart.

Thank you very much,

E

Re: How to filter customers that have not ordered in the past 6 months

You didn't provide an example neither the data model, so I will suggest the simplest idea though

You can add a field containing the age of every order,

Age = number of days between today() and the field Date

as soon as u have that age for every order based on the order date, you can simply in the set analysis filter orders and cutomers based on the "Age" Flag

Sum of orders that are older than 6 months (180 days)

Sum({<Age={<=180}>} [OrderAmounts])

You can also count these customers and display their names based on the same filtering

Count(Distinct {<Age={<=180}>} [Customers])

Hope that help.

Best Regards,
