I have just downloaded and installed the latest version of QlikView Desktop (Version 12.00, SR 5) when loading inline tables I get this error message appear
Has anyone run into the same issue as this or knows how to resolve? previously, load * inline tables were fine.

pre - requirements? I simply downloaded the executable and followed the steps, everything else works I can execute qvd's and excel files no problem this just happens when executing inline tables.
Even using the inline wizard to create an inline table returns the same script error
At our Company we are facing the same problem with QlikView Desktop 12 SR3.
So the problem, doesn't only exist for SR5!
Deleting the settings.ini in the <user>\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView folder. And rebooting the pc, seems to be a workaround. At this moment I'm not sure if this will work all the time.
Reproducing the problem seems not to be easy. Clearing the license (user settings/license/clear license information), and leasing the license again from the server, also seems to work.
Meanwhile, I have found the exact cause of the problem.
QlikView apparently tries to create a tmp file in the root of the C:-folder.
But in our company we do not have write permission in this folder.
The writing is then forwarded to a personal network folder. But if there is no netwerk-connection then the reload hangs!
The problem is solved when we reconnect to the network, and the mapping is correct done.
That's also the reason why a reboot sometimes solves the problem, because after a reboot the system also tries to remap the network drives. And the problem is solved! In the rare cases where the remap didn't finished correct, the reload problem still exists.
