Thank you but it's not my problem. I'm trying to write in English because I think the traduction is bad.
I want to use ID as dimension but see name of the values (I have values which have the same name however I want to differenciate them...)
Perhaps. If I understand you correctly you want a histogram (a specialized type of bar chart) with ID as dimension and a measure that's something like RangeSum(ValueA,ValueB).
Then, for a reason I do not understand, you want to use another field for the labels of the x-axis. That doesn't make sense to me. What's the relation between ID and the name field? Are there multiple ID values per name value or is it a 1-to-1 relation?
Perhaps you can use a calculated dimension like =Dual(Name, ID)
That's really nice to get help 🙂
To help you to understand my problem this is the kind of things that I have :
ID Name Cost
1 A 12
2 A 9
3 B 13
It's really simplified. Hope you understand better my problem now.
Ok, and using that example as data for a bar chart how many bars should the chart show, 2 or three? And how is the value of the bar calculated?
The chart should show 3 bars, but I found a solution : dimension -> ID&'-'&name
That's not what I exactly expected however it's ok
Thank you for you time
