As we continue to invest in capabilities and improve the user experience of Qlik Sense, I am pleased to introduce new navigation options in the Qlik Sense client.

Qlik Sense Cloud and Qlik Cloud Services were updated today to allow users to easily navigate between Data, Analysis, and Stories with just one click. We also have consolidated the list of actions and navigation options into one single menu on the top left-hand side of the client.  The menu is now context aware so only the options which are applicable to the current space will show.

These are part of the single page application experience in which less page reloads in the client provides easier access to different spaces as well as reduces to move between spaces. These changes are now available in Qlik's cloud offerings and will be available in the Qlik Sense February 2019 release installation packages.

Hi Mike

This is a big improvement.

I initially tried to open Data and it went to 'Data Manager' Smiley Sad but its good that when I go once into either 'Data load editor' (or the model Viewer) it open back to DLE (or DMV).

Hi,

We need to implement a action to rearrange or reordering the sheet sequences in a Qlik Sense App. But currently there is no options to do that thing like Qlik View.

The Second thing is there should be an option to remove the grid option from the sheet as well, as it takes gaps between objects in a sheet , even if it has 3 options to narrow the gaps.

Thanks,

Sandip Ghosh

This seems to have removed the option to open the data model viewer, app overview and data load editor in side by side windows. Is there any way to do this in Cloud now?

This is a common development scenario - I cant be the only one who works this way.

I Agree with @jonathandienst, it seems that it works one sheet at a time with this new version..

can't create another "App overview" or "data reload" sheet for the active sheet.

I Used to open all the different sheets at a time, it saves time when saving script changes and moving directly to the front end to make changes (one example).

I think you can continue to open the 3 pages independently with a right button on the navigation button, although there is the possibility of a single page experience.
The only thing that I can not control, with the new experience, is why sometimes going from "Analysis" to "Data", sometimes opens the "Data Load Editor" and other times the "Data Manager"

opens the "Data Load Editor" and other times the "Data Manager"

With Firefox its opens where I was previously. Including 'Data Model Viewer'

But when I have just opened the App it opens on Data Manager (the default option)
