Answer to Qlikview Practice exam question

Hi There,

I'm hoping this will be a straightforward question to answer.  In a question on the Qlikview practice exam (for developer certification) it gives the answer that table A will output the date in format "D/M/YYYY" format.  When I actually run this example in QV, though, it outputs the data as "M/D/YYYY" (as this is the date format for the document).  Is this a mistake, or am I missing something?

As you're not forcing a date format, I would also assume that it would pick up the default format - 'M/D/YYYY'.

I think it's a typo in the exam question / answer, too.

Hi NSM1234567‌ , It should be a typo in the answer. Do the question has answer option having 'M/D/YYYY'?

swuehl‌ , What is the typo in Question?

I saw this in the questions, as well.  As I recall, there was no answer option with the 'M/D/YYYY' format.  I think it's a mistake.

This is indeed a question typo.

Table A should have a M/D/YYYY format.

Thanks

Thank you for confirming, Agis. Yes, there is an error in the QlikView Developer practice question about the date formats. Qlik Community members sure know their stuff!
