Cannot find alternate state button in Document Properties -> General Tab?

I cannot find the option for the alternate states in

Document Properties -> General Tab

Is there anything I should know?

I am using the Qlikview Personal Edition for Windows version 10.00.8815.6 SR1.

So you are using QlikView 10?

If so: That explains it. Alternate States is new in QlikView 11, so was not yet available in QlikView 10.

I suggest you go and download QlikView 11.2 person edition.
