Hi

I will do an Exam for "Business Analyst Certification"

I try to book via https://www1.pearsonv/ and got two choises.:

QS_BA2: Qlik Sense Business Analyst Certification Exam - v2

, or QS_BA2: Qlik Sense Business Analyst Certification Exam - v3

What is the difference between v2 and v3?  Is it Sense version?

v2 is the exam for Qlik Sense 2.x

v3 is the exam for Qlik Sense 3.x

I suggest you go for the 3.x (so v3) exam.

Question:

Are you sure both exams are named "QS_BA2"?

No I was wrong regarding  the first fugures. This is the two choises a have:

QSBA3

Qlik Sense Business Analyst Certification Exam - v3

and

QS_BA2

Qlik Sense Business Analyst Certification Exam - v2

I'll go for v3.

Hi Onno, do you know the exact Qlik Sense version, which the v3 (QSBA3) certification is based on?

Or otherwise: When have QSBA3 been released?

The exam is based on Qlik Sense 3.0.

I think the exams based on June 2017 have been released already (or will be soon). The beta exams were some time ago.

Hi Lars,

We will soon be releasing a NEW Qlik Sense Business Analyst Certification Exam (based on the June 2017 Release of Qlik Sense.) The first day you can take it will be January 25, 2018. You can register for it now.

If there is no compelling reason to get certified now (such as needing to meet requirements for the Qlik Partner Program), I recommend waiting until the end of January to get certified.

Qlik Certifications do not expire, but are designed to become less relevant after we release new versions of the product.

Also, there is a NEW Qlik Sense Certification Exam Study Guide which you can download from the Qlik Sense Certification web page. It's in the "Recommended Preparation Resources" section.

P.S. It takes 8-10 months to develop a new certification exam, which is why the new exams are based on the June 2017 release. We plan to release a new certification every year for Qlik Sense.
