How to check queries running in background

Could any one kindly let me know how can I see the Qlikview query that is running in background. In few complex scenarios , queries could help me in verifying my implementation

You can use a text object and input:  =(yourExpression)

you can add some trace statements

another way is to connect to the database with the appropriate tool and monitor the sql for the user/process running Qlik; eg when the db is Oracle I use Toad to monitor long queries
