Object Formatting Question

I need to remove the space between the expressions and the dimensions...any suggestions?

When the chart is active and you pressed ctrl+shift the red lines within the chart are visible which could be dragged per mouse. Maybe you could so optimize the layout.

Unfortunately, that area of an object is not able to be moved...thank you so much for the suggestion...I thought it was going to work!  But only certain areas can actually be moved when holding ctrl+shift.
