Variable does not work

Hi,

I have set this variable  vattività= Only (Attività_cliente).

When I select a different customer the variable sometimes refreshes sometimes not.

If I enter in a text object(= Only (Attività_cliente)) that is updated every time you select a customer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Michele

I agree.

In general: Try to avoid "special characters" when naming variables. Stick to the normal alphabet and maybe numbers, but no spaces or special characters.

If the update does not work, try deleting it, saving, and than creating it.

May you live in interesting times!

Special characters work fine. If not, it is a BUG.

No, I suspect that you haven't written the variable definition correctly - you probably miss the equal sign. See images below. Note the Input box, and what it looks like if you click in the editable area of it. Note especially the intial equal sign. http://community.qlik.com/blogs/qlikviewdesignblog/2014/11/24/the-equal-sign

I set the following expression in the sript:

SET vattività= '=Only(Attività_cliente)'

Now it seems to me that it works.

Thanks
