how to know about the underlying Datasrc,Datamart,Schema and tablename?

Hi all,

I have to document info regarding Datasrc,Datamart,Schema and tablename used in application. I have qvd files with me; how do I know about the info regarding Datasrc,Datamart,Schema and tablename associated with respective QVD file?

Hi,

In any table you can use the Show System Fields and use this fields to get the information about the association in the among the fields in the tables, also you can use the Ctrl + T view to get any ides which fields has association.

My question is when I opened qvd file from qlikview;how do I know datasrc,schema and tablename from which data used in qvd is brought from?

when i cliked on cntl+t nothing is displayed and no system fields r displayed.

Hi,

In Qlikview try to open this QVD as the Xml then you can get its details source of the QVD creator No of fields and many more try this one.

but i cud see only dsn i.e datasource name, there is no info about datamart and schema. How to get info regarding both?
