how to set variable based on values selected from hidden fields in qlikview

I have a listbox whose value when selected, the selected value should not be displayed in the current selections object. I was able to resolve it through the HidePrefix System variable and everything works fine. Now the issue is, that particular listbox hidden using the HidePrefix should set a variable( using the document properties option) on any selection which eventually hides the list box. To make it simple, the list box should disappear when the selection is complete. Struck here from the day start. Can someone provide me a solution for this..
There is an inner setting to show system fields, there is no option to check this in the trigger tab but if you create a table box and you check 'Show system fields' you can now see in the triggers tab your hidden fields.
Also you can use your hidden field like any other field in any expression like the conditional show.
