Adding users from different domains to Enterprise Manager
I hope all is well I'm back with another question. This is a test environment btw.
I have added users from the same domain as the Enterprise machine and they are able to log in and access the console from their respective machines. However, user accounts from from different domains can not log in or access the Enterprise Manager console unless they log in using the Enterprise Manager Administrator Account shown below - "WIN-NODE3\Administrator". So I know that the machines do have access to the console but the required accounts don't.
Is it possible to access an enterprise manager console from an account that is in the same network but different domain?
Why is it that I can't log in with those red accounts even though they're added into Enterprise Manager?
I have gone through the docs and can't find out why this is the case can someone please point me in the right direction?
As per my understanding It when you login into any window machine it will ask for Domin which it want to authenticate Frist. Did you Try to add those users to Account from which you are able to login .
Does the AEM even get a knock on the door so to speak?
Admittedly I don't know too much about this stuff, but I suggest you look for a solution in the Windows AD space.
Use one of the pre-defined AD groups such as xxx\AttunityEnterpriseManagerOperators or create a fresh AD group and make those other-domain users part of that group. Test with you own (local) group membership first, then a remote group.
