Qlik Replicate - Best practices with source control
Hi - general question.
We got Qlik Enterprise Manager running a dozen Qlik Replicate tasks across three servers.
We have multiple environments of:
- Dev
- System Integration Testing
- User Acceptance Testing
- Prod
When initially building out the environments I was the only person working on QR so source control and migration wasn't problem.
Now with more developers coming onboard - I am fearful of tripping over each other's feet. GitLabs is our organisation's source control of choice
I am just seeking advice how other users handle source control in their instances, how they handle multiple development streams and migration to different environments.
Thanks.

Hi,
Your question is very general and usually the answer for it is very specific to the environment and the specific use cases that are applied in the working environment. In general, the product release notes include the instructions and dependency information that needs to be taken into account for maintaining new versions. However, the recommendation for maintaining different environment should be adjusted based on the specific needs and the way the organization works. FYI - you can approach our PS team to get help building the recommended procedures for managing several working environments in your organization.
Regards,
Orit
