Can I catch a point (x,y) by click on map?

Hello,

I have a qlik geoanalytics maps. I would like to click somewhere into the map and retrieve the x,y coordinates for a TravelArea analysis.

Can I do it?

Thanks!

Hi,
All calculations takes place today at load time using the connector, a workaround would be to do a partial reload or to use ODAG: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-GeoAnalytics-Documents/Geo-operations-with-ODAG/ta-p/1485306

No, there is no support for arbitrary clicks on the map, click has to hit an object in a layer.

Later this year there will be a service that can do geo calculations in runtime, more info will follow.

Thanks,
Patric

Thank you very much Patric!

I will see your odag example. And would be nice to have some info about future runtime features...
