GeoQlik map layer data

Hello,

I've recently been working with Geoqlik on qlikview and I wanted to know if there was any way to obtain or use the data used for the map layer join. Specifically, I am using hte North America states and provinces layer, I have joined on "admin_name", but I would like to use the population counts and area fields in an expression.

Is there a way to access these map layer data sets?

Thanks

Hi, try posting in the GeoQlik group:

GeoQlik, the mapping extension for QlikView and Qlik Sense

Thanks,

Hi Nichola,

Fields from a joined layer can be used in GeoQlik to display labels and tooltips on the map.

Using fields in an expression requires having the data available in QlikView.

If you're using a Shapefile, this can be easily done by opening the .dbf file with Excel and saving it as a .xls / .xlsx / .csv file and then adding that file into your QlikView script.

We would be happy to assist you further and answer any questions you might have regarding GeoQlik.
