Qlik Sense Base Satellite Map disappears after QGA Server Install

@Patric_Nordstrom

We have just installed on on-premise Geoanalytics Server along with the Qlik Geoanalytics Data Package and reconfigured the mapconf.json file so that Qlik's base maps utilize the GA server. However, after re-configuring the file the satellite map has disappeared as a base map option and has been replaced by a 'tiled raster'. Do you know if this is by design?

Thanks,

Ben

Hi Ben,

Yes, that´s by design. Satellite imagery is and will always be a hosted feature and will require an Internet connection.

Cheers

Thanks for the info! As a follow on, I also noticed that QGA maps cannot be printed. This is a limitation that was noted in article 000039433 about 1 year ago. Do you know if there are plans to address this limitation?

Thanks,

Ben

Going forward the QGA map view and the extensions are being replaced with the Sense map chart.

The new Sense map chart is based on GeoAnalytics and has more capabilities, including full print support, wms wizard, image background layer, etc etc.

Thanks,

Patric
